Looking for a way to use all of your outdoor skills, be part of a team, exercise your body and your mind, and have lots of fun at the same time? Try Adventure Racing!
Although the "adventure" part of AR means you may find just about any activity in an adventure race, you'll usually find mountain biking, trekking and/or running, paddling or swimming, and navigation. Some race directors also throw in special team challenges, like climbing a rope ladder, solving puzzles, or throwing a tomahawk. The best part of AR is that you share all of the fun, challenges, and rewards with your teammates!

The TBARC event calendar includes races from the Southeast. The club is centered in GA but coverage extends to SC, NC, FL, and points beyond. Many of these races are feasible for a weekend trip from the Triangle.
